Dnešní maratón: Nasadili jsme krosny a šli dokopce. Tam jsme stopli paní a z kopce sjeli. Pak jsme zas na ten kopec zpátky lezli. Byla tam ale cedule, ať tam nelezem, tak sme zase zpátky slezli. A pak sme skončili po opětovném stopování kilometr od místa, kde sme začli. HOWGH.

Dnešek byl vskutku dnem cestovním – dle hesla „Z bláta do…ještě většího bláta.“ První stop nás dostal do industriální zóny – stavěla se tam geotermální fabrika. Po výše popsaných peripetiích jsme přes Hveragerdi a Selfoss dojeli na prdel světa. Byl tam tři koně a křižovatka, kde nikdo v našem směru nejel. Další stop nás vyvrhl v Motorestu na konci světa. Byl tam bufet a koně. Místní chodili v trenkách a tričku (tady na Islandu mají léto), my se choulíme v bundách a čepicích. Sou to strašný Laponci (jediný národ, který je veselý i při absolutní nule, tj –273°C). Z motorestu sme to chytli ještě líp – další stop nás vrhnul do pouště.
